The list of Hollywood Movie re-makes can go on and on, and you can be confident that more re-makes will be made. It’s obvious that new versions outshine the old. At the very least remakes offer a fresh look at an old idea. Remaking an old classic also serves to remind us just how far technology has brought us from the early days of cinema. Many people feel these new Hollywood remakes are insulting to the original film, but I believe they show tribute and respect.
